What is Nesting?

Nesting refers to placing similar containers, trays, or packaging components inside one another to reduce storage volume. It is commonly used with plastic containers, trays, crates, cups, and reusable packaging. Nesting can improve warehouse utilization and reduce transportation space when empty packaging is moved.
