What is Vacuum Packaging?
Vacuum packaging removes much of the air from a package before sealing. It can help reduce exposure to oxygen and can improve package compactness. It is widely used for food, meat, seafood, medical products, electronics, and certain industrial components. Packaging films must provide appropriate sealing and barrier characteristics. The method can also reduce product movement within the package during transportation.
